Today was a day packed with simple joys and family moments that brought everyone together. It started with a bit of self-care and ended with laughter-filled football games. These kinds of days remind us how small activities can create lasting memories.

Morning Moments: Pampering and Breakfast

The day began with a refreshing pedicure and manicure. Taking time for self-care felt like a small adventure in itself. Meanwhile, the boys headed out to Mel’s for breakfast and some shopping. This gave everyone a chance to enjoy their own pace and interests.

Ryan Yogi’s little brother and Gavin’s older brother joined us today, along with his nieces. It was great to have more family around, making the day feel even more special. Sharing these moments with extended family adds a layer of warmth and connection.

Lunch and Catching Up at Outback

We all met up for lunch at the Outback Steakhouse. The atmosphere was lively, and the food was just what we needed to recharge. Sitting together, we caught up on stories and shared laughs. It’s amazing how a simple meal can turn into a memorable gathering.

Afternoon Fun: Football and Coloring

Back at the VRBO, the kids had a blast playing football with their dad. The energy was high, and the smiles were wide. After the game, they settled down to color, showing off their creativity. These moments of play and relaxation balanced the day perfectly.

Evening Plans and Looking Ahead

Later, the guys headed back to the casino, while I took some time to rest and update my blog. I also finished a discussion question and started an assignment due Tuesday. It feels good to balance fun with a bit of productivity.

Tomorrow, I’m meeting my mom in Aberdeen. We’ll pick up propane and a few groceries, and I’m excited to see my little puppy, too. We plan to head back early to be in Aberdeen by noon, keeping the momentum of this adventurous week going.

Today’s food journey was delightful! I savored a Chestnut Praline Latte for breakfast, enjoyed a cozy bowl of French Onion Soup with a Chicken Caesar for lunch, and capped it off with delicious orange chicken and tasty chow mein for dinner. Yum!
