Today was packed with moments that blended health, friendship, and entertainment in a way that felt both productive and enjoyable. From taking my tirzepatide shot to helping a friend with a tire, and ending the day watching a wild documentary, it was a reminder of how varied and full life can be. Here’s a look at how the day unfolded, including what I ate, the people I connected with, and the little adventures that made it memorable.

Starting the Day with Health in Mind

The morning began with a visit to my Grandmother for my tirzepatide shot. For those unfamiliar, tirzepatide is a medication that supports blood sugar control and weight management, and it’s becoming a helpful tool for many managing their health. Taking this shot is a small but important step in my daily routine.

After the shot, I helped my friend Mitch by driving him to town. He needed to get his other tire replaced on the rim, so it was a quick trip but a good chance to catch up and lend a hand.

Food Journal: What I Ate Today

Keeping track of what I eat helps me stay mindful of my nutrition and energy levels. Here’s a breakdown of my meals:

  • Breakfast: 3 slices of bacon and 2 hard-boiled eggs

  • Lunch: Two slices of 70-calorie naked bread with nuts and seeds, plus some fresh cucumbers

  • Dinner: Two small corn tortilla refried bean tacos (street taco size)

I also had a 24-oz sugar-free watermelon Red Bull during the day. It gave me a bit of a tummy ache, so I’ll be cautious with that in the future.

Supporting Friends and Sharing Success

Later in the day, I tuned in to my best friend Lara’s Whatnot show, Pretty Little Things Boutique. She had an amazing day, selling over 20 items. It’s inspiring to see her passion and hard work pay off, and it reminded me how important it is to support friends in their ventures.

Tomorrow is church day, and I’ll be streaming the service for our Facebook channel. It’s a role I enjoy because it helps connect our community, especially those who can’t attend in person.

A Bit of Entertainment to Wind Down

To end the day, I watched a Paramount+ documentary called Don’t Date Brandon. This guy is truly nutty and evil, and the story was gripping. It’s fascinating how real-life stories can be stranger than fiction, and this documentary kept me hooked until the end.

Looking Ahead

Tomorrow, Mitch will be working on my van, which is a huge help. Having friends who pitch in with practical support makes life easier and more enjoyable. Between church streaming and vehicle repairs, it looks like another busy day ahead.

Reflecting on today, it’s clear how balancing health routines, friendships, and moments of fun creates a fulfilling rhythm. Whether it’s managing medication, sharing meals, or cheering on friends, these small actions build a meaningful life.

If you’re managing your health or juggling busy days, remember to take time for the people and activities that bring you joy. It’s those connections and moments that make all the difference.
